evolve or repeat

Now that we are seeing commercial releases of GPT-3 artificial intelligence, this year has been phenomenal in watching new tools for marketers evolve. As they get smarter, expand the datasets, and improve the user experience, this year should end with mainstream usability of AI for the masses. Tools like and are leaps ahead of last year’s releases. But, they all require direction, and that won’t change for a while. Look at them as accelerators for the creative process, not replacements.

But with the advances of machines, the real thing we are looking forward to is seeing humans thrive. We are starting planning for some exciting new projects at the Mpondwe Lhubiriha Secondary School in Uganda in 2022, including expanding their Obemezi companies, which serve to keep the school funded for the students. We have an interesting initiative coming up to replace the now-broken truck that serves the community there. Looking forward to providing some updates in the next few weeks.
